Nina is a bilingual therapist that considers cultural competence to be critical. She also believes an empathetic, genuine, objective, warm, and unconditional relationship between therapist and patient is key to success.

Coming from a background in Arts, Nina combines sensitivity and openness with the science of human behavior. Her love and passion are her clients and her promise is to provide the best possible care. Nina believes like we all do that the more we know how our brains work, the more we understand human behavior.

She loves working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples in a variety of therapeutic interventions. Her knowledge and experience with Crisis Intervention allows me to provide immediate care and resources. In addition having had her own private practice at one time, Nina also worked with the SASS team at the DuPage County Health Department.

Nina is a strong believer that every person is a unique entity, who’s past is the result of his or her here and now, which one has to be understood, validated, and honored unconditionally. Her love and passion are her clients, and educating them is one of her goals to give them the best possible care.

Nina's areas of focus are; Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Person Centered, and Interpersonal Neuro-biology. She has also done extensive training in Trauma Resolution and Attachment Theories and applications.
